1998: Tule Fog event. Series of chain-reaction accidents south of Kingsburg involved 74 vehicles and resulted in two fatalities and 51 injuries
1955: Storm system generated gusty winds in the Kern County deserts blowing down TV aerials and sand-blasting cars in Randsburg.
In the Tehachapis, road were closed due to snow.
1949: First day with dense fog observed this month in Fresno.
There were a total of 14 days this November in Fresno, a record for the month.
1946: 11.0 inches of snow was reported at Glenbrook.
1933: It was 100° in Santa Ana, the latest date in the season to record 100° or higher.
1931: 14.0 inches of snow fell at Tahoe City.
1909: 10.5 inches of snow fell at Reno, NV.
