O.C. storm chasers: reader photos

Register science, environment editorA week's worth of pounding rain caused rock and mud slides, local flooding and even evacuations in some Orange County communities. Roads were shut down and trails closed as rain gauges recorded as much as 10 inches by the time the heaviest rain ended last Wednesday.
