Re: [Geology2] EQ Early Warning.

Hi Lin and all.

I've been very busy and so am just reading these posts now.

It's possible that certain outlandish posters whether it be here occasionally or elsewhere are just sometimes naive and have been mislead by others.  There is a lot of sensationalised stuff online and on satellite TV channels, so perhaps this was an honest mistake, (if that isn't me being naive also, lol).

If you're easily lead and to trusting you can believe a lot of pseudo-science as it's presented as true and often it looks convincing to the untrained eye!

Regards,

Mark.

Hey Bill,

I agree with Rick. I wouldn't worry at all about it. Pravin's site is all mumbo jumbo and he needs embarrassing. In fact he begs for it. I had hoped that other members of this very elite group would chime in and  further embarrass Pravin. He is a human and deserves respect for that, but the guy is  misleading the uneducated. His story is all about the blind leading the blind.

And you and Rog are both very welcome. You all are such good folks and I do get very protective when I see crap like this. Can't help it. ;-)

I wouldn't worry too much about it, you called it as you saw it and it's a lesson learned.  But yah, I did the same thing last week, a message for the admin group with snarky comments was sent to the sender, OOPS.  Busted.

The individual in question here has been placed on moderation pending their appropriate response.  Any attempt to extend such drivel from this person will result in banishment.  In case there is a language difficulty, do NOT send us this nonsense again; drop it or leave.  We're here for actual science, not for places with a green sky and pink trees.

There is an appropriate place for this sort of material, it's in the field and forest with the other male bovine fecal matter.  At least there, it has the potential of making the plants healthier and prettier.  It has no place here.

PS Yes, I could be more direct.

I apologize to everyone, especially the original poster Pravin.

I intended to send my message only to Lin, and now I feel terrible.

Hi Lin,

Thank you for running the group!  And thank you for taking the time to read the nut's website (personally I assumed that what you found would be the case).

I can see how it would be inconvenient to need to post a warning every time the nut posts...but I also feel sorry for him, and wonder if we couldn't let him occasionally embarrass himself while inconveniencing us, just so he wouldn't have to babble all alone.

Cheers,

Bill
