- DRIVER EDUCATION SIGN-UPS are before school and during lunch in the Activities Office. You must be 15 years old by the first day of the class. The class meets after school Monday - Thursday, anddaily attendance is required. We will have 1 session this semester & 1 session next semester. There is no fee for the class, and does not include any driving time. After sign-ups, students will be contacted to complete enrollment and permission form for the class.
- Senior T-shirts are here! See Mrs. Wells in Room F210 to purchase your senior T-shirt for $10 because....Everyone wants to be 1-2!
- There will be a senior cabinet meeting Wednesday, Aug 25 in Mrs. Wells' room F210 during lunch. All seniors are invited to attend.
- Juniors there will be a junior house meeting Wednesday, Aug 25 in Ms. Bullard's room A101 during lunch. All juniors are invited to attend.
- Sophomores there will be a sophomore board meeting Wednesday, Aug 25 in Mrs. Jones' room E203 during lunch. All sophomores are invited to attend.
- Juniors: Class rings will be on sale today thru Wednesday during lunch by the Activities Office.
- Art club meeting during lunch in G113 on Tuesday. Bring something to share. New members welcome.
- Best Buddies will be meeting in Room E102 during lunch on Friday. Best Buddies is a group that helps connect student in special education with students in general education. It's a great opportunity to meet new friends and make difference in people's lives. Everyone is welcome!
Attention Students:
- If you have an interest in Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement, join MESA now! We are meeting this Wednesday the 24th of August in room F103. In MESA, you will compete in multiple competitions among your peers ranging from robotics to rocketry and wind power, ultimately challenging you and teaching you to become a leader in math and science. You can compete against other high schools across New Mexico and qualify for scholarship money! Remember that is this Wednesday in room F103
- Interested in becoming a doctor? A representative from the UNM BA/MD program will be here Wednesday, August 24th to meet with prospective students. Please see Mrs. Futey in room E224 to sign up for a time to meet with him.
- KANW Radio Begins Classes Aug. 30. The course meets from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, through Oct. 13. The course is open to high school age students and adults. For more information, stop by the Activities Office.
- Students who need to recover credits should sign up to see their counselor this week. Registration for eCademy will begin on August 22nd.
- VVHS students that if you are picking up a younger sibling at Hillerman Middle School please wait up front.
- Teachers please remember to get your students locker numbers and send that information to the activities office.
