Current Situation:
Firefighters are making good progress constructing containment lines and mopping-up around several of the fires. There may be smoke in the area of the Indian Fire due to suppression efforts. Firefighters are still searching for new fires that were caused by lightning. Field Observation teams have been sent to all branches to accurately map the fire boundaries.

Current Situation: Fire activity increased yesterday afternoon on the southeast portion of the fire as it
moved up to the Stallion Springs area. Overnight, firefighters worked to protect homes in the area.
Despite the increased fire activity, no structures were destroyed. Today, temperatures will be a bit warmer
than yesterday. Light winds are expected and more thunderstorms are likely.
This complex is made up of four fires:
Comanche Fire – 23,100 acres – 30% contained
Knob Fire – 700 acres – 100% contained
Wolf Fire – 16 acres – 100% contained
Harris Fire – 50 acres – 100% contained
Evacuations: A recommended evacuation order remains in effect for the Stallion Springs area.
