| 09/14 | 0830 | Scattered wet thunderstorms will occur over much of southern California as well as the Sierras today, but the storms should not be as numerous as yesterday. The storms will produce brief heavy rains with south and southeast cell movement this afternoon. Highs will continue to be a few degrees below normal through the end of the week. By Thursday, the storms will be limited to the Sierras with no further storms expected across southern CA. Friday and Saturday, onshore flow will increase, bringing an end to all storm chances. It will be breezy in and near the Antelope Valley and the Tehachapi Mtns. Friday and Saturday. Warmer, drier and less windy weather expected for the first half of next week. |
