[californiadisasters] Tehachapi lightning fires (Keene Complex, Commanche fire)

In the last 45 minutes, we received this by both email and phone.  We have loaded up a trailer "just in case" and hooked it to the SUV.

Winds are extremely gusty.

The following is a message from ReadyKern:

Wildland fires are threatening the following areas:

The communities of Bear Valley, Golden Hills, Keene, Hart Flat, and Stallion Springs.

These areas are currently under a precautionary evacuation.

A precautionary evacuation means that the wildland fire may become a threat in the near future, and all residents are advised to be prepared to leave the area at a moment's notice if it becomes necessary.

Please note: At this time, NO evacuations are in place, and you will be contacted again if the situation changes. Once again, NO evacuations are in place at the present time.

Please make sure your neighbors are alerted. Please stay tuned to your local television and radio stations for more information as it becomes available. If you need additional information, please contact Kern County Information and Referral Services at 2-1-1.
