18" Incident CA-BDF-713 HWY 18 X Panorama Point, San Bernardino County

15+ acres of brush 90% contained.

HWY 18 was reopened

Ground resources continue to mop up and improve containment and control lines.

No major problems at this time, the winds have died down a bit with no active fire.

Fire staffed tonight.

Lawler Inc advises incident is 100% contained at 14 acres

Lawler Inc. Firefighters continue to work to contain fire which is estimated at 14 acres burning near Hwy 243 at black Mountain Trail in the Idyllwild area.  Fire is burning in timber and is approximately 70% contained. Firefighters are improving control lines with containment expected at 1800 hours today. Ridge top winds are forecast to blow from the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour

High temperatures continue in So Cal today with record highs possible in some areas.
