The problem as I see it involves the lack of information available on inducing pressure into vulnerable strata. Our haste to energy independence has created a "ticking time bomb" I am afraid. The pressure created on weak fracture zones is but one area of worry.
Contamination of ground water is another "kettle of fish!"
