1957: 1957: It was 105° in Escondido, the highest temperature on record for June.
This also occurred on 6/11/1979 and 6/26/1994.
It was 97° in San Diego, the highest temperature on record for June until 6/10/1979, when it reached 101°.
1950: End of a 13 day stretch with below normal average temperatures in Fresno.
Low temperatures were all below 60° and the "warmest" high during this stretch was only 88°.
1934: A trace of rain fell in Fresno.
This was the last day precipitation fell in the water season and the total stood at 4.43", the least amount ever recorded.
