Thanks for the info... that one escaped my attention yesterday. Yesterday does not bode well for what this week will bring to NorCal.
Yesterday there was also a loss of 2 homes from a 3 acre fire in Calaveras County (Valley Springs). Fortunately, Cal Fire hit it hard and was able to gain control within 2 hours.

Today marked a return of a higher level of wildfire activity to NorCal following a bit of a hiatus.
In Butte County the toll to human property was two dwellings and seven outbuildings.
In Tehama County the toll to human property was two single family dwellings, one outbuilding, and 8 apartment units. Also, there was damage to a police patrol cruiser, a Best Western Motel wing, and the Rock R Restaurant.All of this happened BEFORE the heat wave hit so you hopefully grasp what danger is lurking this week across NorCal.
