All closures remain in effect.

Falls Fire, CA-CNF-2512

400 acres 0% contained

Fire is moving south and east and has established itself in the San Mateo Wilderness.  Lakeland Village is immediately threatened; Rancho Capistrano, repeater sites and cell phone sites are also threatened. 

Lakeland Village and Rancho Capistrano Decker Canyon are under evacuation orders.  Ortega Highway (Hwy. 74) closed.  

If the fire continues to spread into the San Mateo Wilderness it will create ingress and egress problems due to the lack of roads into the area.
