We are suppose to be heading up that way on Saturday...There is a large music festival (approx. 8,000 people)  held at Camp Mather just off of Hwy 120 over Labor day weekend, starting Thursday the 22nd...  sure hope gets under control and roads reopened before then!  The Firefighters sure have an uphill battle.  

There are some people already up there camping on Evergreen Road, will let you know of any reports they send.

The Buck Meadows area is being evacuated. An evacuation center is at Tioga High School located on 19304 Ferretti Road, Groveland, California.

Road Closures:

-Highway 120 is closed at Smith Station.

-Highway 120 is also closed to all outbound traffic from Yosemite National Park.

-Cherry Lake Road is closed at Highway 120
