The All School play, HARVEY is starting production. HARVEY is a six foot Pukah that causes all sorts of mischief. There will be a workshop for anyone interested in auditioning for this play. The workshop will take place today, 22 August from 3:00 to 4:30pm in room J122. If you are unable to attend the workshop, you may pick up audition materials from Mr. Finn, room J 122, starting today after school. Auditions will begin on Monday, 26 August. You can find sign up sheets for auditions outside the Theatre (J 139) starting tomorrow, 23 August. You don't have to be in Drama to be in this wonderful comedy. Remember, workshop today, auditions start Monday.

WE WANT YOUR…Doodles? That's right students! We want your doodles, mindless scribbles, and daydreamed masterpieces to appear in the 2014 edition of our yearbook, "The Hawk". These student drawings will appear throughout the book with your name and grade. We want to publish all of them… so let's keep them clean! You have until the end of October to doodle your doodles, so don't use class time. Stop by and see Mrs. Horowitz in the Library to submit your work of art for the 2014 Hawk today!
Best Buddies will be meeting in Room E102 during lunch on Friday. Best Buddies is a group that helps connect student in special education with students in general education. It's a great opportunity to meet new friends and make difference in people's
lives. Everyone is welcome!

DODGEBALL: Attention Faculty/Staff and Students, VVHS will start up its seasonal challenges with Faculty/Staff and Students August 26-30. The first challenge will be dodge ball. The matches will take place at lunch each day during the week of August 26-30. Teams are guaranteed 3 days of play with championship play occurring Thursday, August 29 and the championship game taking place on Friday, August 30 during the assembly. So get your teams of 4 - 6 together which can be students, staff or a mix of both. The cost is $1 per person to sign up. Sign up in the activities office at lunch.
STUDENT AMBASSADORS: Attention Student and Faculty Ambassadors. We will have our first group meeting of the year on Friday, August 23 in the Lecture Hall during lunch. We need to discuss our plans for the year and get ready for the first assembly. Lunch will be served.
COUNSELING
- If you need to see your counselor because you took a course in summer school, have taken a course via correspondence, are taking a CEC course, or are taking a CNM dual credit course and need to correct your schedule, you will need to see your academy counselor before Monday August 26th. This is the last day to make any schedule corrections.
