The National Weather Service - Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect from 1300 hours to 2000 hours Sunday for gusty winds and low relative humidities for Klamath and Modoc County.

CA-SCU Morgan Fire: 3,111 acres, 100% contained. The fire continues the demobilization process of excess resources. Suppression repair continues to make progress.

CA-SHU Clover Fire: 8,073 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment 09/15/2013. Smith, CAL FIRE Team 5. Continued risk to infrastructure in the form of power transmission, distribution lines and residential water supply. Repopulation plan concluded today. California Incident Management Team 5 will transition the Clover fire back to the Shasta-Trinity Unit at 1300 on 9/15.

CA-SRF Corral Complex: 12,500 acres, 79% contained. Expected containment 09/20/2013. Franklin, ICT3. Low to moderate fire behavior activity was reported today. Fire behavior should diminish to backing and smoldering with the anticipated improvement of humidity recoveries this evening. A cooling trend is expected to begin this weekend bringing cooler temperatures and higher RH.

CA-KNF Forks Complex: 37,060 acres, 68% contained. Expected containment 10/01/2013. Herald, ICT3. Resources continue to make significant progress with suppression repair operations. Resources will continue to patrol the Salmon River Road, mop up to 300 ft. where completion can be made safely. Fire activity will continue to be monitored in Nordheimer drainage. Today on the Southwest fire perimeter, crews are expected to complete preparations in the Indian Rock area for a firing operation to be conducted when conditions allow.

The National Weather Service - Medford has issued a Fire Weather Watch in effect from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening for a combination of strong winds and low relative humidities for Southeastern Klamath County, Southwestern Lake County and Modoc County areas.

CA-SHU Clover Fire: 8,073 acres, 90% contained. Expected containment 09/15/2013. Smith, CAL FIRE Team 5. Repopulation plan continues with some residents allowed to return to their homes. Demobilization of resources will continue today.

CA-SCU Morgan Fire: 3,111 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment 09/13/2013. Marcucci, ICT3. The Suppression Repair Group continues to make progress. Resource demobilization will continue today.

CA-SRF Corral Complex: 12,498 acres, 79% contained. Expected containment 09/20/2013. Franklin, ICT3. A Type 3 organization is now in place. Relative humidity recovery last night was poor compared to previous evenings.The fire is expected to continue to back and rollout inside the containment line as the weather continues to become hotter and dryer. A cooling trend is expected to begin this weekend bringing cooler temperatures and higher RH. Fire crews will continue with suppression repair work where completion can be made safely.

CA-KNF Forks Complex: 37,060 acres, 68% contained. Expected containment 10/01/2013. Herald, ICT3. Fire Crews on night shift continued burnout operations below Somes Mountain. Crews last night saw minimal to moderate fire behavior backing down the hill. Fire crews will continue to monitor, hold and patrol containment lines in the Somes Mountain area where a burnout operation took place last night. Resources will continue to patrol the Salmon River Road, mop up to 300 ft. where completion can be made safely. Fire activity will continue to be monitored in Nordheimer drainage.

Approximately 1000 lightning strikes in Northern California over past 24 hours. Initial Attack activity is occuring this morning. Precipitation reports were varied from heavy to no rain at all.
