SENIORS: Homecoming Court applications are due at the MANDATORY meeting today at 11:20 in the lecture hall. Please be on time.

If you are a senior or junior and interested in walking in this years Homecoming Fashion Show, please meet in Senora Luna's room, G204 on Monday at lunch. To be eligible you must have at least a 2.0 to walk in the show. We are looking for 12 girls and 12 boys. 

Thank you to everyone that has turned in their Mu Alpha Theta, Math NHS applications.  The last day to turn in applications is today.   Ms. Conell is not in the building today but Mr. Wade will be happy to accept your applications in Ms. Conell's room, F103.  We are looking forward to a great year and recognizing all of your hard work in math classes. 

COUNSELING:

 

• Juniors: Sign-up to take the PSAT starting next Monday, Sept. 16. The cost is $14. The test will be given on October 16 from 7:30 to 11 in the Lecture Hall. This is your one chance to qualify for National Merit. See Mrs. Sandy in E216 to sign-up.
• Seniors: UNM's African American Services will be on our campus Tuesday, Sept. 17 during lunch. Stop by the F hall lunch area to find out what they offer!
• Attention eCademy students–mandatory after school lab attendance begins this week. Attend your assigned lab day in F213 or F216 at 2:40 p.m. This is an assigned class time; do not be late. These labs are open for any eCademy student to work Monday – Thursday, 2:40 – 3:50. 

ATHLETICS:

• Attention students that attend football games at any aps stadium of facility – this is a reminder that paint
  is not allowed in any aps stadium or athletic complex.  You can paint yourself at home and come with paint on your body.  However, any paint
  containers of any sort on your person at an APS facility will lead to immediate removal from the facility, discipline action by the school and possible criminal
  charges.  WE WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN AND SHOW YOUR SCHOOL SPIRIT – JUST PAINT
  YOURSELF AT HOME.
• All girls interested in playing softball: There will be a meeting at the beginning of lunch, in the gym, on Wednesday, Sept. 18th. We will begin practice the following week.  

TODAY:

• Football plays Sandia High School at Community Stadium at 7. Let's Black Out the stands again!
• The Volleyball team plays at 8 tonight at Del Norte. 

SATURDAY:

• XC has a meet at Community Stadium at 9am.
• Boys Soccer plays Piedra Vista at 1 on our home field.
