LOS ANGELES - The men and women of the Los Angeles Fire Department extend their condolences and deepest sympathy to the family and to the dedicated staff of the Grossman Burn Center for the loss of Dr. A. Richard Grossman.

Since founding his burn center in 1969, Dr. Grossman was a tremendous friend, supporter, and caregiver to the members of the LAFD. Among the thousands of patients Dr. Grossman treated over the years were countless firefighters who suffered burns in the course of carrying out their duties.
