Re: [californiadisasters] T-Storms Moving Across Sacto Valley Into Sierra Foothills This Hour

Nope.  I was driving; it wasn't my vehicle and the nervous Nellie owner (that you know) was riding shotgun.  Traffic sucks so we went that way instead of the nearly closed Hwy 50 (fix50.com)

I just drove around this cell coming back from the coast (down 5, east on 80).  Large cell, some rotational energy in the center, but broadening out and weakening.  There is still plenty of lightning activity and it did produce rain and hail on the back edge I went under.

Passing over Auburn now, heads up Truckee.
