I'm still here. I rather like the push format as well. I've got my own archive of all these postings and dialog. Nice to be able to search the stuff whenever I like.
Twitter and FB stink when it comes to wading through everything, trying to follow a thread, or worse, go back and try to find a specific thing.
I follow county watch, incident pages, state and fed on both FB and twitter. They are a royal pain, what with all the lost/found animals, "Did you see what xxx did?" posts, "I'm pi$$ed off and need to rant about xxx," etc., there is way too much "static." The inevitable political crud and spam that finds it's way onto FB is ridiculous as well. Same goes for the "promoted" posts and outright ads inline.
This format is great. We have the one group for disasters and the other to talk about tangential things.
The manner in which our Uber Furher that will ban the occasional s__t-stirrers represents the very best of an Electronic Benevolent Dictatorship. ;)
When feel I have something that may be germane to the conversation, I will chime in, otherwise I just do my hermit thing and save them up.
Please keep up the fantastic work. I really appreciate it!

Even if you do not wish to chime in with an opinion I'd still like to take a sort of roll call and see who is still here so please check in with even a simple one-word response!<SNIP>Achtung Gruppe!
