Central Sierra (Cooper's) Type 2 IMT team in command

13,835 acres, 85% contained.

Overall the entire fire is cooling, with only large logs and deeply imbedded heat producing smoke.

 

Dark Hole Fire, CA-YNP-0057, Yosemite National Park, Mariposa Co.

Location Yosemite Creek south of Tioga Rd, 1.5 miles south of Yosemite Creek CG

FRA

Type 3 Incident Management in place with IC3 (Singer) and IC trainee (Wood)

773 acres, 65% contained.

This incident is reporting nightly (1800 hrs.) No changes from last report.

Yosemite National Park is managing this fire under a Type 3 incident organization.
770 acres, 61% contained.
Minimal fire movement is expected.
Minimal fire activity due to high relative humidity and low temperatures.
