Fire cannot really go anywhere but stay within the riverbed. This section is bound by either streets, bike paths, business, condos, or I-5. Also a lot of homeless living in the creek/river. The city of SC recently shoed them out, but they shuffled around.

That'll run fast and hard. And it will likely get into the Angeles NF (if not already there); known for being the ONLY National Forest without any trees. :oP Miles and mile of 'so what' brush to burn though.
