LOCKERS: Be sure you are in the correct locker. We will be cutting locks this week.
VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT: The winter staff/student challenge will be next week, Monday, January 11 – Thursday, January 14 at lunch. The challenge will be Volleyball. Each team will consist of 6 participants (all students, all staff or a mix of both). Team sign up will be this week, Tuesday, January 5 - Friday, January 8 at lunch in the activities office. It costs $5 per team. The finals will take place at the assembly on Friday, January 15. Schedule will be posted on Monday, January 11 on the main gym doors.
YOUTH AND GOVERNMENT Do you enjoy politics? Are you interested in how government works? Then you need to join Youth and Government! Meetings are on Tuesdays in Ms. Hatch's room, F205. See you there!
DRAMA: Do you consider yourself a regular Sherlock Holmes? How about a super sleuth? Come test your best detective skills at solving the murder mystery "While the Lights Were Out" this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights in the Black Box. All reservations can be made online. Spot the posters throughout school for the website or QR code.
FASHION CLUB meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday...so put it on your calendar to come to A107 next Tuesday to discuss plans for Prom themed fashion show and more .More reminders to follow-any new students who wish to join, please show up Tues 19th

ATHLETICS
Basketball will be participating in the Metro Tournament this week:
GIRLS BASKETBALL will play Hope Christian at Manzano tonight at 7
BOYS BASKETBALL will play at La Cueva tonight at 5:30.
WRESTLING will be in the Ring of Fire on Wednesday evening at 7 against Cibola.
GIRLS TENNIS: Any girl interested in playing tennis this Spring should attend the January hitting sessions scheduled at Sierra Vista courts. Practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. New players are welcome. Tennis tryouts will begin on February 8, so now is the time to get ready.
