[californiadisasters] On This Date In California Weather History (May 10)



1985: Petaluma had a low temperature of 27° F

1980:
2" of snow fell in Big Bear Lake, a remarkable amount for this late in the season.

1967: 3" of snow fell at Cedarville (Surprise Valley in Mono Co.).

1928: Fresno begins a 161 day stretch without any precipitation.
This is the longest such stretch on record here.

1896: Reno, NV, reported a morning low of 16° F.

1896: San Jose had a low temperature of 32° F.
