RE: [californiadisasters] Subject lines and incident names, etc.

While we’re on the topic, please remember that when things get busy, do NOT start another thread line for a continuing incident, in the main group.  PLEASE use the existing thread line.

A new incident starts a new thread.  A continuing thread stays on track until completion.  (NO HIJACKING)

Active incident information on the main group, discussion, comments or chatter on the discussion group please (it’s FAR more relaxed there).

We’ll get some redundant messages from various folks, please try to add new information to the thread but if it is double or triple mentioned, relax, it happens.

This is really nothing new.  With a group this large, netiquette is very important.  Yah, we review this about this time of year, every year.  Thanks in advance for your input and patience.  Let’s hope it is a boring year.
