2003:
A large waterspout was observed between Laguna Beach and Catalina Island.
This was the first day measurable rain fell in San Diego after 181 consecutive days of no measurable rain, making this dry streak the second longest on record.

2003: 14.0 inches of snow fell at Tahoe City.

1999: It was 80° in Idyllwild, the highest temperature on record for November.
This also occurred on 11.13.1999, 11.4.1980, 11.12.1967, and 11.2.1966.

1966: It was 101° in Santa Ana and 100° in LA, each the highest November temperature on record.
It was also 101° at the LA airport and 97° in San Diego.
Santa Ana winds fanned fires.

1962: It was 102° in Palm Springs, the highest temperature on record for November.

1954: It was 82° in Palomar Mountain, the highest temperature on record for November.

1935: 10.0 inches of snow fell at Portola, with 6.0 inches at Susanville.

1935: A cold start: five of the first six days this November had lows of 32 degrees or lower in Bakersfield.
The low on this date was 32 degrees.

1927:
It rained 2.90 inches in Santa Ana, the greatest daily amount on record for November.
