[californiadisasters] List-owner Comment: September 11 Remembrance

Achtung Gruppe!

I was heartened to see today all the remembrances and memorials to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Even Faux News and MisNBC News were on their best behavior.

We now enter the second decade since the attacks having as a nation since lashed out at our enemies regardless if they were connected to the attacks or not.

Al Qaeda shot their wad that day ten years ago and have since been greatly diminished both by way of successful counterterrorism measures as well as blow-back by having alienating so much of the world and so many of their potential supporters by killing innocent civilians en mass, civilians representing most of the nations on Earth thus making the attacks an attack on the entire world.

I am currently working on a blog posting of my remembrance of September 11, 2001, as I watch the original version of the Naudet Brother's 911 documentary in its original DVD version from ten years ago. I will post a link here to said blog posting when it is completed tonight or tomorrow morning.
