Re: [californiadisasters] strange things in the sky

There are a couple satellites about to hit the atmosphere (decayed orbit) but should burn up before hitting the earth.

This was seen across an area over 10,000 square miles of Southern California so that alone eliminates ball lightning was a possibility were this seen only in a localized area this evening.

I think ya'll are right, considering the evidence, but don't forget ball lightening appears a lot like a meteorite fall.

Hey Jason. I was out on my porch and saw this thing (looked like a meteor) from Big Bear City. It was moving pretty slow so I assume it was a LONG ways away.

Scanner traffic has indicated a wide area of reports from Joshua Tree to Escondido. Some reporting a plane, others reporting aliens, the usual.

It was definitely a meteor from my vantage point.

What was really weird is that we have had thunderstorms up here in Big Bear this evening and I saw this thing about 15 seconds after a large flash from a lightning strike.

Was kinda weird. Highly doubt it made landfall anywhere on Earth. As most do, they burn up and that's what gives the cool show.

News has been reporting a large amount of people seeing something fall out of the sky near the Riverside/Inland Empire area.   This took place around 7:40 pm.      Sounds like a meteor of some sorts.

More to come I'm sure.
