Friday, March 27th in the Performing Arts Center, we will premier over 2 hours of student written, directed, and produced horror films.  The evening will begin at 7 PM with the box office opening at 6:30.  The event will start with a red carpet for the student producers and actors.  Keep listening to the announcements for more details.

Attention all Volcano Vista students and staff: Our school is participating in the Read to Me Book Drive and we need your book donations! If you have any children or young adult books that you just don't need any more, come see Ms. Duran in room H107 during lunch or after school to make donations!

Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is joining Wing Squad in the school-wide book drive, but with a twist :

Donate Spanish or Bilingual children's books through your Spanish class! Teacher who collects the most books by March 18 will receive 8 pizzas at lunch on March 24th!  Books will be distributed to organizations across Albuquerque who serve children in need.  ¡Vayamos los halcones!

COUNSELING:

  • PARCC: Students bring your head phones EVERY day - many students are choosing to use the headphones the school is offering.  This was supposed to be a last resort.  If you have already used a pair, they should have your name on them and you need to locate them before your next test.  We will not be giving students another pair.

  • Seniors there is still time to apply for scholarships! Go visit the college and career center during lunch, E224 and look at the scholarships available.

ATHLETICS:

  • GIRLS BASKETBALL will play Cibola at the Santa Ana Star Center Tuesday evening at 8

  • BOYS BASKETBALL will play at Eldorado at 4

Have a great day!

And remember

As always…

It's great to be a hawk!
