4.8M earthquake near Wasco felt across Bakersfield

A map from the U.S. Geological Survey shows the location of an earthquake that struck Tuesday afternoon southwest of Wasco, Calif.
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — U.S. Geological Survey says a 4.8 magnitude earthquake felt across Bakersfield was a centered 4 miles southwest of Wasco.
The quake was about 13 miles deep. It was centered 23 miles northwest of Bakersfield.
Several smaller aftershocks, including a 2.6 magnitude quake, was reported by the USGS.

Tessa Lovro with the Red Cross said no injuries have been reported to her.
Neither Bakersfield police nor the Kern County Sheriff's Office reports any damage.
