[Volcano_Vista_HS] NEW Westside Stadium Meeting at VVHS--April 19 at 6 PM

Hello everyone:
 
I would like to make you aware of three things regarding the West Side stadium. No matter where you stand on the stadium, here are several opportunities to express your support, or ask your questions, or offer your input as to what you would like to see the stadium be for students on the West Side. (Please spread this information to your sports teams, your Listserv community, your school community, etc.)
 
We have taken our information to the folks who oppose the stadium. We have heard their concerns and have made some changes to the design based on those concerns. Now we are taking the information about the stadium to others who might support the stadium but who might have other ideas for its design that we haven't heard. We also want to offer others in our community the opportunity to learn about what this stadium will look like, the plans, etc.
 
So if you want to know more about the stadium and/or you have suggestions, our next community meeting details:
 
Where: Volcano Vista High School Lecture Hall
When: Tuesday, April 19, 2011
Time: 6 p.m.
 
It would be nice to see more folks who support the stadium show up and hear the presentation offered by the current landholder, the architects and designers and APS officials.
