FARRELL’S QUAKE SHAKE TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE AMERICAN RED CROSS AND BRINGS EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS AWARENESS TO THE COMMUNITY.
We've teamed up with the American Red Cross to raise money for the American Red Cross and Earthquake preparedness awareness in the wake of the local 5.1 magnitude earthquake that was felt across Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties on Friday March 28th and Tuesday's deadly 8.2 earthquake that struck off the coast of Chile. These earthquakes are a sharp reminder to Californians that California's “Big One” could come at any time and everyone needs to be prepared.Beginning Wednesday, April 2 through Sunday April 6, all seven Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour locations will be selling their new “Quake Shake” for $4.99 with 100% of sales going to the Red Cross. In addition, our guests will also receive a brochure on earthquake preparedness with instructions on how to be ready for the next “big" earthquake.
Our limited edition Quake Shake is a Rocky Road flavored shake, A rich chocolate shake with marshmallow swril topped with whipped cream, almonds and a cherry. 100% of the sales from this $4.99 Quake Shake will be donated to the American Red Cross. In addition, monetary donations will also be accepted at each restaurant.
