Oklahoma breaks last year's earthquake record
Quakes continue to mount

OKLAHOMA CITY —Earthquakes are not slowing down in Oklahoma. The total number of earthquakes for 2015 has already surpassed all of last year, and there are still 10 weeks left in the year.
The quakes counted are for those of magnitude 3.0 or greater, which are quakes that can be felt.
There have been a total of 2333 quakes this year but most of these are less than a magnitude 3.0. Quakes with a magnitude of 4.0 or greater have also increased this year.
