Re: [californiadisasters] MAJOR storm N. CA

Winds at 43 in Placerville, gusts to 53.

One death, woman drove into flooded roadway, Hwy 70 near Marysville, male companion was able to escape.

Pacifica 5+" for the storm.

Winds dying down, storm front passing, snow level dropping to 4K' tonight in the Tahoe area... One small leak in the RV kitchen window, easily fixed, once I get home (tomorrow)

73,
Rick

A very long squall line... some experts are suggesting it's the longest they have ever seen, which stretched from the Bay Area northward towards Redding, might be the longest ever observed in California.... it's now showing some bowing features as it approaches the Sierra Foothills suggesting some more intent straight-line winds in the bowed out areas.

The scanner traffic has been insane, and still is; i'm signing off due to power blips. Trees into almost everything; lines down everywhere, couple minor slides, plenty of flooding.
