[Volcano_Vista_HS] Principal Green Requests Volunteers

Due to budget constraints, Volcano Vista is desperately in need of parent volunteers. By choosing to volunteer at your child's school, you'll be able to help make an impact on not just your child's life but on the lives of other students as well.

Student Registration--We only had 3 parents reply to an earlier request to help out either August 8 or 9 during registration. Those willing should report to the school lecture hall at 7:30 AM (and will help until 11:30 AM). Lunch will be served to volunteers. Email Assistant Principal, Valerie Atencio if you can help for a few hours: atencio_v@aps.edu

Front Desk Help--We desire parents to answer phones each week day during school hours. You could sign up for a morning or afternoon shift one day per week.

Science teachers (especially Chemistry) would like parents to check out lab equipment on lab days. You might be asked to help 1 day a week...or less often...depending on when the bigger labs take place.

Library--You could volunteer on a one time basis, or regularly.
