Less aircraft means more boots on the ground with shovels, therefore, “Shovel Ready Jobs”, the Administration wins!!

My thoughts exactly... that is a meager ration indeed... what is the Executive and Legislative branches thinking in allowing the USFS fleet to dwindle to that small a fleet even as wildfires are becoming an ever-greater threat than we have ever seen for a variety of reasons?
