[californiadisasters] King Fire News



Air Attack reported a 100 acre spot fire on Chipmunk Ridge, into the Tahoe National Forest (the next USFS Forest North of the King).  That's the Highway 80 side of this mess.  This spot puts the fire halfway to I-80 (Auburn area).

Today's not going to be a great day either.  At least they arrested the motherless bastard.  Some aircraft are up, but the cloud cover both cools the area and keeps the planes out.
