[californiadisasters] Re: Veg Fire:MMU:Oakhurst



For the unaware, that dozer has about a 3 hour drive, but on a Friday night, from Grass Valley, through Sacramento, then down 99 so it will take probably 4-5 hours to get there.  Hopefully the support unit that goes with it can clear traffic, but it won't be pretty.  Near Bass Lake Rec Area.

Fire running the ridge, one structure in the path...  Assigning aircraft and channels now...

Likely name is John West, but haven't heard a name yet.
