That was aircraft order #8. Multiple Type I aircraft ordered, sounds like about 5 copters too, plus some medium tankers.
YNP Valley won't be a quiet peaceful place today. :o( Not sure where the copters can get water, other than the lakes in Tuolumne Meadow area.
That's part of MY backyard, knock that crap off!

Not a tremendous amount to burn there (at or above timber line) but a VERY odd place for a start without lightning.
I'm also hearing traffic for the "Meadow" fire, might be the same fire (was a copter)
