A good example of poor reporting. Not the first time this week for KCRA.
The facts are not known but shove out what little that you DO have as news when a little research (a phone call) would show:
The assessment team can't go in until it was safe; they are NOT firefighters. That was today, in parts of the fire.
The homeowners are told first, by policy as it should be. Then the media is told. But by law, reporters can go anywhere in the event, then they blab showing little respect or concern for the homeowner.
(Firefighters know what's lost, but they're busy with the fire, not counting houses. They don't like the losses either.)
And anyone wearing yellows knows you don't tuck them in, you also wear Nomex pants and a hard hat (don't muss my hair) and a shelter on your belt (and he "walked with the firefighters"?). If they're that CLEAN, you're not really working and you've not been IN the fire scene, only in front of it. I call you out on this one. You're standing in the street.
Stupid is as stupid does. I see stupid.
