Calcium hypochlorite IS a form of chlorine bleach and as it breaks down in water (sunlight speeds the process), converts to calcium chloride, a salt. It is available in pellet or powder form, for pools.
This is why pool owners are encouraged to replace 1/3 of the pool water periodically; the salt is corrosive to pumps etc.
How long are you planning to store? Bottled water, when kept cool and sealed from the factory, lasts a long time.
If you're one to stress, dose the water with chlorine (bleach), seal it for storage, then let it sit open to off gas for at least a day before use. The taste can be neutralized with some vinegar (I know, another acid, but it works).
