06/28/2015 1747 CA-MEU Covelo Fire: 35 acres, 50% contained. Evacuations remain in place. 06/28/2015 1532 CA-MEU Covelo Fire: 10 acres grass and brush, 0% contained. Multiple fires; Ledger and Cemetery fires. Moderate rate of spread. Multiple structures destroyed, additional structures threatened. Evacuations in progress. 06/28/2015 0745 The National Weather Service - Medford Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 2300 this evening for increasing thunderstorm activity for fire weather zones 285 in California and zones 617, 623, 624 and 625 in Oregon. http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/firewx/cafw/rfwwarningsbycwa.php?pil=XXXRFWMFR 06/27/2015 1730 Light initial attack in the Geographic Area today.
