And we both know that this is not the year to ignore ('Manage") any start.  Our ailing forests can't afford that.

To be clear, it isn't the ground troops (they're awesome) but it is the retarded policy makers that make me angry.  I've cross posted to the discussion list if anyone want to continue there.

I'm not an armchair referee.  I have 34 years of experience in fire management and I don't like seeing it done poorly.


This is just another case of USFS (mis)management and it will cost us dearly, again.  This is NOT the year to make boneheaded management mistakes through inefficient policy.


That is all I have to say on the subject on this list, further can be moved to the discussion list.


It was accidentally cross posted, my apologies.  Even moderators occasionally make that mistake.
