Re: [californiadisasters] CHP Prevents Traffic Disaster: Surviving Idiots Complain

Californians can drive on wet streets? Last I looked even those who came here from places that have regular rain forget how to drive on wet roads. As for snow or ice, after a couple of years here I'm not so sure they can even drive safely on dry roads with excellent visibility.

The above is based on over 40 years of driving in California.

Surviving Idiots Complain - Nice Summarization!

Most did not have chains, most can barely drive on a wet street. Yet they are well prepared to drive on the inclines and declines of he Gravevine covered with snow and ice. Glad to say I was not on the road with them.
