CLUB INFORMATION
Attention all students and sponsors: club pictures will be taken next Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch. A schedule will be forth coming.
FIDM Fashion Club will be having an OFFICER meeting today at lunch in F225, Mrs. Bergsten's room. Be sure to be there on time, we have many things to discuss!
CREATIVE WRITING CLUB: The first meeting for the new semester of the Creative Writing Club will be today, Thursday, January 13th, after school from 2:30 to 4:00 in Ms. Valdez's classroom A203. There is much to discuss including the upcoming Open Mike Night, Slam Poetry competitions, yearbook photos and more. Please make sure to attend – and bring a friend as new members are always welcomed! See you there.
All Volcano Vista Students interested in being in the all school Spring Play production of Fools, by Neil Simon, you will be able to pick up Audition Packets Tuesday, 18 January 2011 in room J 122. Auditions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, 19 and 20 January with Call Backs on Friday, 21 January. For more information, see Mr. Finn in J 122.
Art Club Meeting Friday during Lunch in room G113
National Honor Society: Our yearbook picture will be taken on Wed, Jan 19th in the ROTC room on the south side of the gym. Report at 11:20. If you are late, you will be one of those "not pictured." Also, NHS members need to stop by E203 and sign up for tutoring times. Seniors, remember you must have your tutoring and community service hours completed by April 4th.
Mr. Wellman is hosting the New Mexico Youth and Government program this year. If you are interested in traveling to Santa Fe and participating in our government, swing by his classroom in A216 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Students in the past have actually changed New Mexico laws. Join our political process.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are on a long assembly schedule on Friday- please remember to turn in your Hawk Cards so you can have a chance to win great prizes.
If you wish to purchase a 2GB Hawk jump drive they are on sale in the Activities Office for $10.00 during lunch.
The next Open Mic will be on Friday, the 21st of this month. Stay tuned for more info.
ALL first semester textbooks MUST be turned into the bookroom as soon as possible!
If you have the following textbooks return them now.
Health, Government/Civics, Economics, AP Government, Trigonometry, and all other outstanding textbooks.
CNM and UNM textbooks should already be turned in also. If you still have your CNM and UNM textbooks you need to return them to avoid having to pay the full price for these textbooks.
To avoid phone calls home and fines put on your account return these textbooks as soon as possible!
