CA-KNF Fort Complex Fire. 23,010 acres. 30% contained. Hotshots were inserted into the western perimeter (Tims Peak and Fourmile Butte) and the northern perimeter (Figurehead Mountain to Goff Butte) and continued to construct handline.

CA-SHU Power Fire. 248 acres. 95% contained. Significant progresswas made today. All controll lines are holding and mop-up is progressing rapidly.

CA-PNF Chips Fire. 75,431 acres. 100% contained. Interior islands of unburned fuel continued to burn and smolder near power transmission lines. T2 IMT Molhoek is committed.

CA-SHF Bagley Fire. 44,465 acres. 55% contained. The fire continues to burn actively on the N and NW flanks. A community meeting will be held in Big Bend on Tuesday September 4th at 1800.

CA-KNF Fort Complex Fire. 22,316 acres. 28% contained. On the southern and eastern perimeters, the fire continues to smolder and creep through continuous fuels, with interior islands continuing to burn out. On the western perimeter, active backing fire (1-2 chains/hour and 2-6 ft flame lengths) with short, intense runs toward the interior and spotting were observed fire behavior.

CA-SHU Power Fire. 240 acres. 95% contained. Interior burning was observed as crews improve lines. Demobe of excess resources is under way.

CA-SHF Bagley Fire. 43,930 acres. 45% contained. Crews continue to construct, burn out and hold fire lines. The fire continues to move slowly on the west flank.

CA-PNF Chips Fire. 74,431 acres. 100% contained. Suppression action (limited construction of check lines, and mop up) has been taken on interior islands to reduce the risk of internal flair-ups that pose a containment threat.

CA-MNF North Pass Fire. 41,848 acres. 58% contained. All closures remain in effect (Forest closure order 08-12-13). The fire has reached the Middle Fork of the Eel River in Diision V and is holding. Divisions A/B/Z/Y/W/X continue to be in mop up & patrol status. The northern portion of the fire continues to burn between Pothole Creek and Stick Lake Canyon.
