Homecoming tickets are on sale for $20.00/ticket in the activities office during lunch. You must have your current VVHS student ID to purchase a ticket. If you are bringing a guest you must have a permission slip filled out. Guests should be between the ages of 14 and 20 years old. No middle school students may attend.
The Volcano Vista Bowling Team is in the preparation stages. Coach Perry Hampel invites everyone who has interest in joining the club come to an information meeting Friday - during lunch - Room E209. Experience is not required and everyone is on the team.

SENIORS, LISTEN UP! The last day to turn in your Senior Project Parent Signature form TODAY, Sept 21. It must be turned into your Gov/Econ teacher, or to Mrs. Jones in E203 for those who do not have Gov or Econ this semester. Find the form on Page 8 of your Senior Project booklet. No form, no class time for research next week.
JUNIORS! Do you want help paying for college? Do you want to stand apart from other applicants in the college admission process? Qualify for the National Merit Scholarship by taking the PSAT/NMSQT. You took the PSAT as 10th graders, sign up to take it again as a junior and you could qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. The cost is $15 payable to VVHS. See Mrs. Futey in E224 to sign up by October 5th.
There will be a sophomore class meeting this week in F114 during lunch on Wednesday. All senators are required to attend. Any sophomore that wants to be involved in the class of 2015 please join us.
Best Buds will meet on Friday during lunch in room E102. We will be going over important, upcoming events.
If you have not fill out a new application for free or reduced lunch your old one from last year will expire on september 22 and you will then have to start paying for your lunch please fill one out now so you can keep on getting free or reduced lunch.
We have a winner for our first movie tickets: Burge Nathaniel. You too can be a winner just eat school lunch everyday and your name will be put into our drawing We will draw a new name every week till Dec. Movie ticket can be picked up in the main kitchen G101.

- Girls Soccer plays West Mesa here today at 3:00 (we won 7-2)
- Boys soccer plays Sandia at the soccer complex today (we won in PKs 4-3)
- Varsity Football play Moriarty tomorrow at 1 pm at Milne Stadium. We are the home team.
