You're so welcome Ian, and thank you for your compliment. I am so very pleased to get this paper, as I've been studying New Zealand (Zealandia) geology for some time. I keep up with NZ politics, the rebuilding of Christchurch, the penguins living on NZ, as well as the further investigations into CCh's local faults. It's all so fascinating to me. I have a dear friend who lives there and we correspond on a daily basis. I'll wager you had quite a thrill taking this image; I know I would.
Did you know that 17 papers were recently released to the general public by GeoNet? And that GeoNet now has a blog, Twitter account, and Facebook page? If you should like copies of them, I'll be glad to upload them here for general access. I have more papers than a certified geologist, but I bet I have more fun learning than he or she does. :-)

Thanks Lin for another very informative post. The variety of your geological posts is excellent.Thought you might like to see an article about another interesting place in New Zealand called Turakirae Head where the large beach was raised 2.5 metres by a mag 8 quake in 1855. Here is :http://www.doc.govt.nz/upload/documents/parks-and-recreation/places-to-visit/wellington/turakirae-head-scientific-reserve.pdfAnd here is a photograph I took in 2009.Cheers: Ian McHenry
