[Volcano_Vista_HS] VVHS Announcement--Wednesday, October 10, 2012

Seniors: Campus Specialties will be here today, October 10th to take your announcement and cap and gown order. They will be located outside the activities office from 11 to noon. If you forget to purchase on this date you will need to go to their office on Eubank to place your order. The school will not accept your order.

Just a quick reminder to all seniors that your senior portrait needs to be taken at Lifetouch studios by the 13th in order to appear in the 2013 edition of the yearbook.

Coach Hampel proudly advises that Volcano Vista is looking like it will have their largest bowling team ever with 28 people out to practice last week. There is still room for some more and a final invitation for freshmen to come out and represent Volcano Vista High School. Finally Coach Hampel reminds all bowlers about the important meeting with parents this Friday @ 5:30 at Tenpins. If you are involved in a fall activity and planning to join the team soon - get someone out to the meeting. LETS ROLL HAWKS!"

Our choir will have their first concert tonight in the PAC at 6:30. Everyone is invited to attend.

Attention all Thespians! There is a meeting this Thursday, tomorrow October 11th in the green room. Be there.

On November 2nd and 3rd, Volcano Vista Taking Flight Productions presents Euripides; Medea, the astonishing story of a murderous mother deceived by the one she loved. Featuring the genius of Rachel Capener, Lizzie Galdony, and Gabby Montano, this is not a show to miss. Tickets are $6.00 for students and staff, $3.00 for Thespians and children under 12, and $10.00 for adults.

ATHLETICS:

Attention all athletes interested in swimming for VVHS, there is an information meeting with Coach Schaumberg on Monday, October 15 at 3:30PM in the Lecture Hall. Please plan to attend to get all information for the upcoming season.

• Girls Soccer will play Rio Rancho here at 3.
• Boys Soccer will play at Rio Rancho at 4.

Thursday:

• Volleyball will play St. Pius here at 6:30

Friday:

• Football will play Del Norte at Wilson at 7
