PSAT testing is this Wednesday 10/17. Juniors who have signed up should report directly to the lecture hall, sophomores please locate your testing location through your English teacher or on the signs posted in the hallway and report to that location by 7:30 on Wednesday.
CONVERGE: We would like to invite you to our student led bible study called converge this Tuesday, October 16. It will be held in room F211 during lunch, and would like to see you there.
Congratulations to Elizabeth Green and Spencer Sherwood for winning this weeks movie tickets from our cafeteria. Stop by the cafeteria and see Ms. Thrasher to pick up your tickets. Win movie tickets just eat all week in cafe. There will be a drawing every week until December.
National Honor Society: We have begun our tutoring in A Hall. If you signed up for this first block of tutoring, report as soon as lunch begins to Room A 123, in the 9th Grade Academy Office. Do not be late, do not plan on leaving early. Remember, you signed up for a block of days to complete your tutoring requirement for this year.
BOWLING: Paperwork to register the team needs to get done this week. If you have not turned your paperwork in make sure you bring it to practice this week. Also Coach Hampel needs all shirt sizes for ordering the team bowling shirts by Friday night. If you miss this opportunity to order you will likely see a significant cost increase after Friday. If you are joining the bowling team after your fall activity - you still need to order your shirt by Friday. You can contact Mrs. Hampel Room E209 to get a message to the coach.
Taking Flight Productions Presents Euripides' Medea on November 2nd and 3rd at 7pm in the PAC. Tickets are $6.00 for students and staff, $10.00 for adults and $3.00 for thespians and children. Invite your friends and family to support the wonderful works of Veronica Velasquez, Matt Richards, Eva Rivera, Sam Elliott and many more!
We are doing a test run on Panda Express at the gym snack bar today at lunch!!! $4.00 for orange chicken and steamed rice.
ATHLETICS:
- Attention all athletes interested in swimming for VVHS, there is an information meeting with Coach Schaumberg today at 3:30PM in the Lecture Hall. Please plan to attend to get all information for the upcoming season.
Tuesday:
- Volleyball will play Rio Rancho at 6:30 in the Ring of Fire.
Wednesday:
- Girls soccer will play Cibola here at our field at 3.
- Boys soccer will play Cibola at 6:30 at the soccer complex.
