Made two trips past the area this week driving between Los Angeles and San Jose. I can never help but to look every time I go by. The landslide scar is slowly healing over with new growth. Hopefully there is healing for those still living in the area.

Notes:		At about 1:15 P.M. on this date in 2005 a tremendous mudslide crashed into the back of the the community of La Conchita just east of the Ventura Santa Barbara County line burying 15 homes and killing ten people.
